Be Doers of the Word or Follow God's Directions

Have you ever tried to make a dessert but didn't want to follow the directions? So has Mr. Ryan! He wanted to make a strawberry cake for the kids but thought following the directions was silly so he threw them out and did it his own way! You can see in the pictures how well that turned out! Yuck! Whole eggs, peanuts, mustard, sweet tea, ketchup, Italian seasoning, and strawberry cake mix! That wasn't the most successful thing he has made! The kids choose to eat the cookies Mrs Christi made because she followed the directions! The moral of this activity is that we should follow God's directions (be doer's of the Word. Don't just read it and do it your own way!
